Heck wow what a week it's been!
I went to ConFuzzled last week and had a roller coaster of a time. Saturday night was spent feeling pretty lonely and sad about myself but things picked up and on Sunday through to the end of the con I had a fantastic time!
Was really good to see friends and I also got to dye my hair and present more femme again in public.
Also GOSH I got to meet a Renamon fursuiter and that was such a magical experience. I really need to get my own Renamon fursuit!!
Looking back, and at where I am now, I'm a bit sad that it's taken me so long but I'm on my journey now and I know who I am! 💛💜
Hmmm, if someone's a kaiju, can they be a girl? Or do they have to be a GRRRRRRL instead? 😉
Renamon is, ultimately, the reason why I'm a trans girl. In the early 2000s I saw some photos of the official Renamon mascot suit used for live shows in Japan, and that started me on a journey to wanting to be a Renamon and also to be a girl.
It's taken me a real long time, nearly 20 years, to realise it and have the courage to accept it. I used to tell myself that I couldn't be a girl as I was too masculine, but the support I've had from my friends has been wonderful!
