Recent purchase. Needs some work before I’m liable to be happy with it, but it’s a very good start.
I own several m1 steel helmets but I’ve never been confident cutting them because cutting wheels terrify me. The fact this is already cut means I can put in whatever work is required to fix the inaccuracies present.
Im unsure if it needs a full repaint just yet, but I do need to paint match for when I replace that ear cup with an itex cast.

@Pipponprops doing a colonial marines cosplay has been on my bucket list too!

@renbymon

This one really will take time, as it’s a process that I’ll probably mainly purchase in bits and bats.

Mainly as 3d print files for truly accurate movie armour aren’t really a thing. Most are game rips.

Plus there’s no getting around the custom camouflage that was made just for the films.

Gonna save and see if i can at some point pick up either some vac formed armour or keep an eye out for anyone flogging some second hand kit I can fix up.

@Pipponprops I've got 3D print files for a motion tracker and eventually I'll get around to printing it!

@renbymon I probably have the same files. Made mine a while back but I’m in the process of repainting it a more accurate colour to match my pulse rifle.
