LB: Yet another reason why Windows 10 will be the last version I use. Decision has already been made that Iāll be switching to using a mix of Linux and Mac machines and whatever I canāt do isnāt worth worrying about. The only thing keeping me on Windows has been games, but with Proton and the like I really donāt care anymore.
Also I realised that I really donāt care for new games releases anymore; I have a core set of games I play and if I canāt play any new ones well thatās okay.
@renbymon The masses allowed television sets to become internet connected devices that push advertisements straight out of the box in a Faustian exchange for television sets that are sold at retail for below cost price.
The masses will sell their usable computer OSes out for the same 30 pieces of silver in exchange to use software "for free."
The casualties will be geeks like us that just want functional computers with no malware.
