The thing that fucking drives me mad about the Imane Khelif debacle is that this hasn't been an issue in mens sports before.
Mike Tyson routinely knocked people out in the first round and was still allowed to compete.
Michael Phelps has "the perfect body for swimming" and was still allowed to compete.
It only seems to be non-western women who are suddenly a danger to the sport.

@renbymon I think it's a common conception, especially in *those* circles, that men's sports are "pinnacles of human achievement" while women's sports are just "a special corner so those weak ladies can compete".
