My mental health has been dangerously bad the past couple of days. but I just spent £400 on a single book, so that's a sign i'm doing better, right?

@renbymon Neuromancer. It's an illustrated limited edition (only 500 copies), signed by the author.
It's like my favorite novel, and there's barely been any nice editions made of it. Apart from the Brazilian hardcover edition but portuguese isn't one of my languages, sadly. aaand those are hard to track down anyway.
@renbymon there's only a handful of books I'd spend that much on and Neuromancer is definitely one, for a lot of reasons.
