man i'm watching a youtube video that mentions 2 Gryphon and i just... i never got that. i never found him funny and never found out why anyone else found him funny. he just seemed like he was Bill Hicks without any level of talent or wit but focused on furry stuff.
like even twenty years ago he wasn't funny
@PsyChuan oh totally; it's arguable that he stole most of his early material from Sean K and then didn't progress more than just ranting.
I think it was partly the performance (y'know how popular angry internet ranting for comedy was at the time) and the lack of other standups in furry that made him so popular
