I keep getting marked down on hazard perception mock questions because I am spotting things *too* early. Pffff

@Saki Yeah this is why I failed too. What helped in the end was a hazard perception sim where I could watch some practice clips and react to those; it helped me a lot with getting the timing down.

@renbymon I understand why hazard perception is so important... But surely being overly cautious shouldn't be something that you get penalised for

I've been scoring pretty well with them tbh, but it's just annoying when you get 1/5 or 2/5 on one when you really should have got 5/5 xD

@Saki @renbymon Same, it is important but it's a bit slanted and penalising for spotting a hazard early is crazy. My tutor also mentioned the 3-clicks trick. "three clicks to the beat of 'Staying Alive', like CPR".

There was a CD-ROM hazard perception mock test which was DSA approved and used similar software - I borrowed that from him for a few days to get the timing down. I don't know if it's still a thing.
"If you see an animal in the road, run it over" was the bit that broke me though.
