Heard that upper management has confirmed that the site I work at will close in 2027, so now I've got to plan what I'm gonna push for.
I'm gonna push for either a company car or redundancy, due to the commute distance involved.
@renbymon The tax burden on a company car might leave you worse off as it's a benefit in kind. I'd ask for redundancy and some kind of job mentoring package to get you re-employed somewhere else.
