Zack Polanski has won the leadership nomination of the Green Party. From what I understand he is the candidate with the least problem with the working class. I will watch his career with interest and if he truly DOES advocate for green policies that do not destroy working people I may vote Green. :D
@avon_deer I was holding off joining the greens because the other leadership candidates are transphobes and were not hiding that fact, where as Zack has been quite vocal in his support for trans people.
@renbymon I doubt I'll be actively joining the party. But if I can keep fash out by voting in the correct way; they are on the short-list in a way that previously their middle-class "Fuck the poors" narrative might have precluded.
@avon_deer Yeah that had been a problem with them in the past. Thankfully that's changing, and by the number of votes the membership wanted it real bad.
