People talk about dumping their ROMs for the sake of games preservation, but I wouldn't even know how you'd do such a thing. It's not like you can just stick the cartridge or CD into an adaptor and it downloads to your hard drive.
Certainly would love to see my stuff preserved digitally...
Same with preservation of analogue video. How would I go about preserving that digitally? Have an old Disney VHS that I refused to get rid of simply because it's such a strong nostalgic memory, and I'd love for it to be preserved somewhere.
