hmmmmmmmmm think i might try an aio cooler for my pc to replace the bequiet! chonky air cooler I currently have.

Like, I've just seen my cpu temp spike to 87 degrees while running something. I'm guessing the case I have doesn't have the best air movement inside it despite all the fans (that I am 99% sure are all facing the right way now to maximise airflow)...

also it heats my room like a motherfucker.

That said, will I just be replacing the problem of a hot cpu with a NOISY cpu cooler?

@Nine You'll still be heating your room regardless... gotta love those laws of thermodynamics

@salith well yeah probably lol. Still, the noise issue is more important. With a bank of fans cooling liquid for the cpu, via a huge radiator, would that be more or less noisy than the huge brick of a heatsink I currently have that has... I think two fans? Maybe just one?? I think just one, because I think one of the arms to hold a fan in got lost somehow.

@Nine Maybe just buy some low-noise fans and redo them. Not sure what type of fans are best for that, though.
