oh good so i'm not going absolutely out of my mind. phantom leg vibrations are absolutely a thing and caused, potentially, by the brain EXPECTING your phone to be vibrating in your pocket, so it hallucinates there being vibrations in your pocket, in your leg.

great. fantastic. yet ANOTHER thing this disgusting, useless meat body is good for. hallucinating notifications and alerts even if my phone isn't in my pocket.
