even if the revolution was tomorrow, we would still have work to do to get to an actually equitable world
one of the reasons that white anarchists frustrate me is this belief that if you topple the state, the goodness of people will float up and all that pesky racism stuff will melt away.
this is a dangerous belief. the revolution doesn't end at revolt.

I have literally had "let's go to the source and end capitalism" brought out as a response to my saying that fighting your own bigotry is work and we shouldn't pretend it's easy.
Yeah, it frustrates me too. Especially since the same folks that point out anarchism actually looks a lot like today's world on a day to day basis at the local level. It's like, "If so, then it doesn't really address any social issues directly, does it?"

@scarly True this. The revolution ends when a just and equitable society has been built, and safeguards put in place so that we don't have to have another revolution for a couple of generations.
