lgbt discourse

@noelle A cis person attracted to a cis person of the opposite sex is not LGBT.

lgbt discourse

@noelle I should have emphasized if they're exclusively attracted to someone of the opposite sex.

lgbt discourse

@noelle Thing is, I'm not. Cis hetero is not gay period. I am not "gatekeeping" anyone. I just happen to not be on board with the tumblr radlib radikweer trends, is all.

And for the record, I don't believe in this idea that gays and lesbians are somehow as oppressive (or more oppressive) towards bisexuals than straights.

lgbt discourse

@noelle How are cis ace people oppressed?

lgbt discourse

@squirrel I reject the assertion that I'm doing any oppression here.

lgbt discourse

@NewEnglandite i reject the assertion that you're not

lgbt discourse

@squirrel Asking how specifically cis ace people are oppressed is not me oppressing them.

lgbt discourse

@NewEnglandite no but the previous posts are, those are what i specified, you did not read my reply correctly

lgbt discourse

@squirrel Nowhere in my previous posts did I say or do anything related to oppression. I have not done any erasure or gatekeeping.

lgbt discourse

@NewEnglandite you have claimed ace people are not lgbt, that is erasure

lgbt discourse

@squirrel that is absolutely not erasure, because I said that if you are cis and are attracted (romantically or otherwise) to the opposite sex, you cannot be LGBT

lgbt discourse

@NewEnglandite but ace people are not attracted

you're talking about hetero people

lgbt discourse

@squirrel whom do they want to have relationships with, then?

lgbt discourse

@NewEnglandite buddy you really don't get it, do you?
