So I dunno if I mentioned this, but because I love that sweet sweet OPL3 sound -- and because I wanted a system that was fairly mobile and I could play classic DOS stuff on more natively -- I took inspiration from LGR and got a Gateway Solo 2500

The power adapter arrived today. It still needs a hard drive though

I should say though, I actually have an IDE hard drive coming in the mail. Got one kinda cheap, on the order of like $30. Good thing I waited, wasn't sure if it was going to be a IDE or SATA drive connector.

Could have gotten a CF drive and adapter, but those tend to be more expensive and I didn't want to wait for my drive to come. Plus I don't need solid state that bad, since I don't plan to move it too much overall

@even_more_damned_muteKi fuuuuuuuuture prooooooof

also i think the cf and adapter would've been cheaper :p

@squirrel for the size of the hard drive (160GB) that doesn't seem to be the case, 100-ish GB CF goes for like 3 times the price. Someday, but not today
