It makes me kinda angry that if someone started a gnusocial instance with decent people, people would block it anyway because 'its gnusocial'

haven't found one decent person in them either
and i do check before blocking

@er1n but gnusocial uses ostatus and until 2.0, mastodon will still support it for private toots
which it Shouldn't.
@squirrel if you want, I can hack together a patch to only use AP
It'll break fed with mastodon instances still on 1.5, but you might not care
