@squirrel except supposedly it's being maintained indefinitely, and having either one or two broken federation protocols that don't federate properly with ANY other servers in any fediverse is worse than having one protocol that does federate nicely with at least half a dozen servers.

Supposedly 1.6.0 also shipped with an ActivityPub-related privacy bug regarding locked accounts too, I don't know the details (one of the vahnj accounts reported?).

privacy bug? no, just following locked accounts returned 500 when it shouldnt
