@LottieVixen @TrollDecker @shekkiesqueaks yeah but that's kinda overkill
unless you really wanna build a complex system of stuff, a well-designed excel spreadsheet will do that for you
honestly learning all of SQL just to use to to make a list isn't worth it imo, only if you're building something for other people instead of just yourself
@LottieVixen @TrollDecker @shekkiesqueaks there are versions of excel that run on windows 95
why would you use google sheets
@squirrel @TrollDecker @shekkiesqueaks need networking easily :p sheets jumped to mind , sorry
@LottieVixen @TrollDecker @shekkiesqueaks dropbox + openoffice :P
but yeah i know what you mean
@squirrel also you reminded me of this https://github.com/andmarti1424/sc-im
@LottieVixen oh god it's lotus 1-2-3 for 2017
@LottieVixen no, VISICALC
@squirrel *googles those*
@squirrel @TrollDecker @shekkiesqueaks
well google sheets was too bloated for the task (and ran poorly on my machine) but yeah learning SQL for that would have been a waste, but she already knew it.
