okay so i forgot about the cabaret girl thing in kiwami. It's...surprisingly less sleazy than it sounds, because it sort of works more like getting to know the two girls you get paired with (one in each bar). The first is Rina, who's bi, and you end up chatting about life for gay couples in japan in 2005. Kiryuu is...surprisingly open minded about things. and not a dickhole. hm.

I think anyway yeah. The characterisations of Majima and Kiryuu are great in general? I feel like Kiryuu's time in prison between 0 and Kiwami has made him MORE open minded?
but both games have some problematic content still :/
(but Rina gushing about how cute girls are is just adorable and like you can help her out on dates she's going on with another girl I guess, which is super cute)
