i'm pretty sure at least tens of thousands of coffees are purchased every day in canada with debit cards

@bea @er1n@dev.glitch.social i have no idea how debit cards work outside my country but i use exclusively debit to pay for anything with my card since it's an instant transaction and i don't pay extra fees to my bank, as opposed to credit
@squirrel @bea @er1n same, I've never even had a credit card
although I try not to run small transactions on my card when at like indie coffee shops since they have to pay a transaction fee, but that's not a security issue
