@kibi there's an option for that in the settings, i used to have the same problem and requested it, wire devs are actually very nice and receptive
@squirrel the transformation happens on receiving afaict so it still doesn't affect how other people see my messages tho

@squirrel like on desktop (where i have it turned off) i see :P but on iOS (which doesn't appear to have the option) i'll see 😛 lol
