eeee i got Parsec to work, the problem was that my ISP blocks port 8000 outbound

switching to port 9000 helped

@squirrel I'd headbutt my provider if they were to block ports. To think of it, bad enough I no longer have a real IPv4 even, native IPv6 though.

@SolSoCoG welcome the third world country where big telecom doesn't want you hosting a webpage on your home connection unless you pay for the expensive business plan

@squirrel I thought they're good with offering dedicated IP. no/fewer reset, higher SLA, actually good support and probably higher upload at business plans. That's just awful 😒. Well well. IP tunnels are a thing, but possibly also blocked via deep package inspection if they go as far
as port blocking 😯.

@SolSoCoG no, anything hosted outside of 80 and 8000 is fine
