@masklayer honestly? late 90s-early 2000s sony optics were pretty fucking good (can't say anything about later stuff bc all the later sony cameras i used had zeiss lenses)

@tom pentax c60812... 8-48mm f1.0 all the way through... There's like a whole bunch of extremely similar/basically the same cctv lenses with exactly those specs, I recently got another one with those same specs made by rainbow imaging (it's not as good like build quality wise but the pentax ones are more expensive on ebay)
It's "nice" but obviously has a lot of distortion on the edges, circular bokeh and the big thing is it's designed for 1/2 inch image sensors so there's a huge vignette
