Why even have a notch on the phone in the first place if it doesn't need and AND you can just "turn it off"

@squirrel I like it on the iPhone X since the rest of the bezel is uniform all the way around, but on the new Huawei phones there's a notch up top, thin side bezels, but a chin on the bottom with a fingerprint sensor. It's neat that some Android phone makers are doing it not to minimize bezels but they haven't been able to do the thin bezel all the way around like the X
