for some reason for the last some while my laptop was just running its fans at a constant speed (they usually go hog at even the slightest temperature increase). Then I restarted and now they're back to going hog when the laptop isn't even that hot...
it's probably better for the laptop, but the noise drives me insane

I've tried to control them manually with fancontrol, but it doesn't seem to be able to autoconfig and I haven't tried to like... write a config file
Still have to... Write my own config file. Fine fine shouldn't be that difficult. But the right time to write it is probably not when I'm already aggravated by the noise!
