flu
I'm at that stage where it feels like I'm drowning in phlegm
You wouldn't have thought it was possible for an octopus to feel like they're drowning in something but here I am, proving the impossible possible once again
flu
@hfrazey no need really, it's viral so the most they'll do is say "see me in two weeks if it's still bad"
already a hell of a lot better than I was though, so that's good
flu
@troubleMoney true, flu is a virus, but bacterial infections after flu are where the danger lies....and you've been sick for a while...so if you find yourself going downhill, please see a doc OK? https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/01/100122002334.htm
flu
@hfrazey oh yeah, if it starts getting worse I'll be going to see a doc, but so far it hasn't been anything out of the ordinary for the strains that are going around these parts
flu, death mention
@troubleMoney ok good. sorry to be a pest, but I know someone whose husband died from a secondary bacterial infection because he was too stubborn to go to the doctor. I hope you keep feeling better.
flu, death mention
@hfrazey don't worry about being a pest, I really appreciate the concern
I'm just moaning a bit 'cause this sucks
flu, death mention
@troubleMoney oh it TOTALLY does!
flu, death mention
@troubleMoney how are you feeling, I've been thinking about you, also where do your hedgies go in the winter I am worried about them too
flu, death mention
@hfrazey I'm feeling a lot better thanks, little bit of lingering "bleh" but otherwise back to normal
hedgies are still hibernating away, they're due to wake up march/april-ish, we built them a load of little houses to sleep in and gave them plenty of straw to use as nesting material so they should be all nice and comfy
flu, death mention
@troubleMoney ok I will try to stop worrying about all of you
flu
@troubleMoney please take care. have you seen a doctor?
