Here's a thing I'm probably talking out of my arse about:
Do people actually like turkey?
'cause it seems that a massive amount of it is consumed at events like thanksgiving in the US and christmas in the UK and there's bugger all people eating it the rest of the year
It is available all year, so if people actually liked it I'd expect the demand curve to be a bit shallower
My theory is that, in general, people don't actually particularly like it and only eat it out of marketing
