it's only after faffing about for 10 minutes fitting a bracelet with teeny tiny annoying spring bars that won't go in the fucking lug that you truly appreciate how easy and accommodating nato straps are
and yes, I know they're more properly called G10 straps but take that up with the rest of the watch nerd community

I had "Nato straps" for my pebble time… and didn't actually like them very much.
Changed them for fake ones that had normal spring bars.
And then I stopped wearing the thing because I don't really like having things on my wrist and all I did with it is skip songs… I should get a dedicated device for that…
@kirby ah yeah, they do seem to get dirty quick, although it's probably the same amount of dirt as other straps pick up and those just don't show as much
best thing to do is every couple of weeks take the strap off and chuck it in the washing machine, either that or clean it with dish soap and warm water if you don't happen to be putting a load in the machine
@kirby oh, also if you put them in the washing machine, fasten them around the belt loops on a pair of trousers, they don't get lost that way
@troubleMoney Nah, the problem was that the strap under the watch would collect what felt like a hundred times as much sweat as anything else xD
