just realised that my router only supports up to 100BASE-T. I've been trying to diagnose this issue for days where NFS wouldn't go faster than 11 MiB/s
especially fucked that its wifi is faster than its physical ports
OK I went out to FNAC and every single router there is like "WiFi 5000000 mbps!! destroy your neighbours' electromagnetic spectrum with this kick ass router for élite gamer" and if you look at the back its like "1 WAN port 10/100, 2 LAN ports 10/100"
@troubleMoney yeah i've been considering ubiquiti. i was just checking a physical store because packages take a literal month to arrive these days and im willing to settle for good enough if i can skip waiting
