so when i see people list their pronouns with multiple options, e.g. he/they, i have been assuming that they're listed in priority order, e.g. he/they means "preferably he but they is also fine" (or that there is no preference), while they/he would mean "preferably they but he is also fine"

is this actually how literally anyone else does it or did i make this up all on my own
