@ajroach42 You could probably come up with something with tasker
@ajroach42 http://tasker.dinglisch.net/
It's an automation thing for android but it also lets you build menus and other user interfaces
@ajroach42 Ah yeah, no idea if there's an equivalent for iOS
The other option I'd go to is bash scripts in termux which also isn't available on iOS
@troubleMoney I'll look in to termux. I'm amazed apple allows something like that.
Otoh, I could just ssh in to my actual server and do shit there. (Now to figure out which ssh client for iOS can convert touch to mouse, and to re-learn the monster that is bash dialog. )
@troubleMoney totally misread your original message.
My second comment still stands.
@ajroach42 After a look around there seems to be this http://www.blink.sh/
Don't know how good it is though
@ajroach42 @troubleMoney Let me know if you find a decent ssh client for iOS, because I've never found one.
iOS is definitely not the platform for tinkerers and coders, which is sad because I first started coding on a Mac.
@mdm @troubleMoney I used terminus in the past. Haven't had it installed in over a year though, because I haven't been coding.
We'll find out if it's any good later tonight!
@troubleMoney oh. ThT sounds neat. I'll look in to it.
But also, I'm on iOS
(which, frankly, I'm embarrassed about.
It is a great operating system aside from all the stuff it won't let me do, but that's no excuse to put up with the limitations.
I was strongly adamant that I wouldn't ever use an iPhone, but they won me over with a good camera and useful accessories... )
