is it still a separate world? would we call them ghost? if the consciousness remains active, wouldn't we consider them people with rights? like, who says not having a tangible body means you can't own things??? see? this is how I start writin scifi help
@Efi Yes it's separate, we'd call them ghosts, humanity has a hard enough time considering people as people let alone ghosts, and millennia of case law

the bad part is that then they will fight about whose fault it is, who has to fix it and hpw to avoid being blamed about it in the future without actually fixing it
