You know what I'm most excited about re: living in the middle of the woods with another human being?

Card games.

When I was a kid, I would while away hours playing Rummy or Hearts or Spades or ...

There were a couple of games I borrowed from Neopets, and I only knew their Neopets names. Some of them, surely, are also real games.

Like Go! Go! Go! (neopets.com/prehistoric/gogogo) I remember having a lot of fun with Go! Go! Go!

My grandparents and I, and occasionally my dad and I would spend a lot of time playing these various games.

Today, it seems like the only card games anyone plays are variations on poker.

So, what are some other Card Games or pen and paper games or dice games or pen and paper games or very simple board games that I should collect the rules to?

@ajroach42 Oh, if you find yourself needing to encrypt something (not likely but whatev) there's the Solitaire cryptosystem which is implemented on a pack of cards schneier.com/academic/solitair
