No ethical consumption under capitalism
- not useful
- people need to consume shit to live
Okay, what's your idea then dickhead?
- make what we do consume go as far as possible
- if shit breaks, try to repair it
- learn to sew
- get acquainted with a soldering iron
- use more fucking duck tape
- if you need something, look to see if you can bodge it together from shit you've got lying around
- shit you've got lying around also includes anything in poorly secured bins

@Efi eh, I feel it's more that anything bought under the capitalist system has been made through exploiting some poor bastard somewhere

@troubleMoney that's what I meant, but it's not a defeatist slogan, but a nihilist one, you have to build something better, not assume that's how things work
ramble, int. monologue
@Efi I'm taking it from an angle of "this is how shit works at the moment, let's see what we can do to reduce harm while we're changing things to be less shitty"
ramble, int. monologue
@troubleMoney but... I always read "no ethical consumption under capitalism" as there is no way to certify what you buy is ethical, so change the system so you don't have that doubt???
