Electrolysis question

Does anybody have experience or knowledge about diy facial electrolysis? I really need to do something about my facial hair but probably can't shell out 2 grand or more to get it done professionally.

If you just reply saying that it "sounds dangerous" i will block you, I'm looking for actual advice from people who actually know about it, and I'm not about to be chastised for taking my health into my own hands.

Electrolysis question

@DangerDyke i've not done it at home myself tbh but i may be able to offer knowledge of an alternative - it's likely you're way ahead of me ofc but have you looked into at-home laser treatments?

their main downside is that it only really works when there's a lot of contrast between skin and hair so it leaves a lot of people shit out of luck.

ofc you're probably way ahead of me, but in the 5% chance this is useful, i thought it worth mentioning?

Electrolysis question

@wigglytuffitout I've heard that the home laser kits aren't as powerful as the professional ones, which is a concern for me. Thank you though.

Electrolysis question

@DangerDyke i think that is the tradeoff, yeah, it's less powerful but it is much more convenient and you can do your own touch-ups at home. i've had some success using one to wrangle my pcos beard lol. if there's any way i can be of help with knowledge of that, feel free to come give me a poke :> and i'm sorry i don't have more relevant better info for you!
