thankfully i did not endure the plague much myself

however, the event WoW did based off it - just before WotLK hit - was genuinely one of the best times i've ever had in video games. like, there's no way it could have been anything other than a one-off, and was easy to grief people with. but my best friend and i kept a chunk of thunder bluff entirely zombies for an amazing amount of time LOL
