@InspectorCaracal yeah i think a lot of it is people being mad at remembering pokemon is a game franchise meant for kids to enjoy because they are selling it to kids
a lot of it is the exact same anger i saw against the new star wars movies lmao. people who think new people enjoying a thing in a different way diminishes how they enjoyed the thing. extremely silly and tiring lol

i realize it's not an ideal thing but it's also not the literal end of the fucking world. you can have cherished memories of a franchise and *also* know that it has been, since its inception, a moneymaking enterprise where corners are cut in the name of the almighty dollar.
