slate's advice column answered a question from somebody asking essentially "i have multiple mental illnesses and am having 1-3 panic attacks per day, can i ask my workplace for accomodations?"
the comment section is full of ADHD, AUTISM AND TRANS??? YOU'RE JUST TOO MUCH!!
i may have dropped off a snarky comment all "ah yes, as soon as you're less than fully abled, we can get you accommodations in accordance to your wishes..."

after all, it's not a question of IF you'll become disabled. it's WHEN.
it's just that society has said being old is the one valid excuse. (sometimes.)
but if anyone Too Much is not fit to exist in society... well... who am i to convince someone to give up such firmly held beliefs :)
