@InspectorCaracal they've actually said some things that make me hopeful, in terms of wanting to respect both different vibes of the two different ways to publish content online, but also looking into the ability to cross-post

now if they'd just reverse the levels of nonsense with the adult content ban...

@wigglytuffitout I mean I stopped posting on tumblr due to UI changes long before all that nonsense so I don't have a horse in this race lmao

the period where they were openly so fucking hostile to missing e and other extensions was amazing. imagine being such bad programmers that instead of fixing your website, you just get pissy that your users are using something that fixed it on your behalf

but then again the way they did an animated logo for a bit still gives me the fucking vapors and that's with one whole "programming for not cs majors" class i promptly forgot under my belt
