I know that "mystery novel series involving cats" was kind of A Thing for a while but I still love the Cat Who books.
At least the first couple dozen of them.

i picked up one second-hand in high school that was an Amish and Cooking Murder Mystery book with Pennsylvania-Dutch recipes between every chapter
