@DangerDyke I've got nordvpn and it's been pretty good for me. Lots of options including server connection obfuscation, and can be set up to run on a router.
I've heard really good things about protonmail's vpn, and those guys are heavy into security, but I don't have personal experience so I can't say for sure.
@DangerDyke if you can deal with the up front costs, sometimes nord runs a social for two years of service for $90. That's what I'm on and I think it's a good deal
@Anarkat they have such a sale on now, 3 years for a hair over 100, but i just can't justify that upfront at a time when i have no income.
@Anarkat nord is pricey as hell, and proton is based in a 13 eyes-cooperating country. not bad options, but given the threat model and budget im working with i'd rather not go with them.
