mad at myself for gettin mad but also mad at the receptionist for being condescending about me gettin mad at having not been paid for the last 5 months

@PolyCement depending on where you live, not being paid for so long might be a matter for you're state's labor board. Something to look into. Where I live, at around 2 weeks after I should have been paid is when it becomes a matter for the labor board.
