New on Ramen Science!

A curious CC-0 Wikimedia picture inspires one of the best ramen bowls I've had on the blog to date.

"High functioning" and "low functioning" aren't imprecise labels.

They're pathology-paradigm labels - and I reject the paradigm, not just the wording.

There's no such thing as a high or low functioning autistic person.

There are autistic people whose support needs are visible, and autistic people whose support needs get ignored.

The labels don't describe us.

They sort us - by how useful we look to others.

Refuse the sorting.

All of it.
