@BatElite I should have explained this clearer, but basically Pleroma is "still in development". It's pretty much stable and a lot of instances have been running for many months now, but the devs think it can be pushed a bit further before 1.0 is released. So, all Pleroma instances are running git snapshots, which they might update ever so often.

going to https://catgirl.science/settings on whatever instance you want to check is probably the best way to determine how recent the snapshot is, since that part of the UI has changed quite a lot, especially recently, as new features have been added.
