It should be illegal to write EULAs as impenetrable as they usually are.

@BatElite It sort of is. In every case where I've heard of a company trying to enforce a "gotcha" clause in one of those, the courts have ruled that the agreement is invalid as the defendant could not have reasonably been expected to read and understand the EULA before clicking through. That's the real reason why "plain language" terms and conditions have been gaining traction with big businesses over the last decade.

@Terrana @BatElite Let's extend plain language to all legal stuff, please. There's really no need for it to be so complicated. At least have a plain-language part that explains what the legalese is about and save the legalese for the explicitly-stating-common-sense-assumptions part that prevents loopholes.
