Pretty thoroughly fed up with the way that only platforms always "allow" or "tolerate" sex work and lewd things "but it's not condoned on our platform", which means they'll happily host your stuff and profit off it but instead of having to protect/show solidarity they can throw the workers/creators under the bus instead of taking a risk when that's convenient. Spineless bastards.

(This not caused by anything in particular right now, just a recurring thought.)

How did I forget about Andre and Karl?

Had a dream today wherein I was doing a Stellaris thing. It didn't get the mechanics very right; I had a pretty sizable empire and only one neighbour discovered: isolationist fallen empire that I bordered on but should have been able to take on. For some reason they had stellarite devourers circling all their stars which then suddenly all trekked across my empire and wiped my fleets.

It didn't get the mechanics right, but it did get the feeling of being screwed beyond my control.

The church we used to go to (and are still "part" of, need to get on that...) sends out birthday cards with a "remember giving is good please donate to us here's a small envelope to do that", featuring a lovely watercolour image of the church (the watercolour is considerably lovelier than the actual building though). It's been the same picture since we moved here.

This last one we got we threw in with the paper waste without bothering to open the envelope. :P
