I have my first HRT appointment next week. This is actually happening. Holy crap it's actually happening.

you're definitely not wrong about there being a lot to deal with, but from the sound of things you've got the right attitude (not to mention support) necessary in order to see it all through. 
@Chel On the paperwork where I had to acknowledge the changes and risks, I sat there and looked at the line "I am ready for hormone therapy" with my initials next to them for a long time, just soaking that feeling in.

I remember going through all that paperwork and just being like "yes, sounds awesome, sounds awesome, worth the risk, sounds awesome, SIGNED" lol.
@Chel I know there's A LOT to deal with, but I'm ready and I have lots of people to root for me! I'm so excited that things are finally moving forward.
