It felt so ridiculous, standing in the kitchen bullshitting about how capitalism is bad and talking like normal fucking people with two old white guy cops in my kitchen while my roomie gave his statement.
Both those cops have houses, and both pay just barely more than I do for this apartment.

Also fun fact, one of the first things I was asked when the cops showed up was "how do you identify" meaning my gender identity. Dude made a note and it wasn't brought up again, nor did they misgender me.
I feel like I got extremely lucky.
