@AudreyJune True, that. I think I'm just normally used to being surrounded primarily by folks in the Northeast when online.
And that sounds delightful! I'll have to run over and give it a try in the near future. Fried chicken sandwiches are one of my favorite things... particularly when they aren't owned by bigots. 😅

@AudreyJune It probably helps that this is more or less the first online space I've been in that has such a significant queer presence. Which is good, because I've burned out extremely harshly on social spheres dominated by straight males

@AudreyJune Highly recommend their fried chicken! The strawberry lemonade is to die for, and the fried okra really surprised me with how tasty it was.
That's entirely too true, tbh. I kind of wish I'd managed to stumble in a bit earlier, rather than flailing around on various forums and such surrounded by... less than wonderful people. 😅
But, ultimately, the important thing is that I did find my way over, and I've been loving it!
