@porsupah Yeah... I honestly can't even begin to imagine having to live through all of that, and having to watch a child you've raised end slowly move down that path. 😬
Just awful on so many different levels.
@Chel It'd be terrible enough if it were "just" that final incident, but to have that brewing for, what, six years? I hope they can recover from that prolonged toxic stress. The protagonist.. who knows? Maybe they'll recover some sense of basic decency someday.
